One big disadvantage of living miles away from family (other than being with the ones you love!) is having quick access to those photo albums, safely stashed away in my Mom’s closet.
The countless number of photographs that trigger memories of …
that first day of preschool with a little boy who killed a cockroach for me,
getting to meet Prince Charles up front during a church choir ceremony and
lying horribly sick on the sofa, unable to see the baby sister I’d waited ever so long to arrive, only because I had a yucky fever…
are all stored, miles away…but safe.
So the best I can do to take you on a tiny Throwback Thursday trip down my life’s memory lane, is to share a few special memories from a few years ago.
