Yes, it’s official!
We’re a…
Oh yes!!
I can finally say, at 2 years and 6 months, Bunny Boo is…
Potty Trained!
He has done such an awesome job in the whole process. There are days when we’ve asked him to wear his Pull-Ups just in case, but his determination to be a big boy paid off. I will be honest, the first few nights he insisted sleeping without diapers, I didn’t sleep very well as I kept getting up to check if his sheets were still dry.
And yes, you can say I was a Mama of little faith but honestly I didn’t think making it through the night would go through without any accidents. But I was proved wrong…oh so wrong!
Encouraging little buddies to become big kids!
As with most younger siblings, Bunny Boo considers most of big sissy’s friends his own. So to help him develop his own little circle of friends (and to help him overcome his shyness), we signed up for Little Gym sessions, once a week.
Most of the kids in his class have just begun on their potty training journey, so I thought it would be fun to have our First Flush Celebration right after their last class. Armed with cupcakes, goodies for all and diaper packs for the 4 fortunate little boys in class (why keep the packs when I have a big kid rocking the diaper free stance, right?!), I shared our potty training journey with the Moms.
We laughed off those almost moments and encouraged a Mom to stick to working with her child.
Thankfully this hasn’t been a frustrating journey for me but for some Moms it’s otherwise. But as I told another Mom, don’t use parenting books as your benchmark. Each child is different and when your child is ready, it will all fall into place without a struggle.
Just keep cheering on those flushes and don’t focus on those accidents.
Celebrate with the App!
Pull-Ups also has a Pull-Ups Big Kid App packed with fun ways to celebrate, games and more.
Yes, yet another way to celebrate those flushes!!
And don’t forget, you still have time to win a HUGE Celebration getaway to that magical place, everyone loves!
((Woot!))
So tell me…
How old was your child when he/she became a BIG KID, minus diapers?
**EBMR Disclaimer: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and to host a party. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.**

I can remember the day my kids were potty trained. It felt like such a weight was being lifted off of our shoulders. Congrats on the huge milestone. Also, the pull up app looks really cool. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet! I am jealous.
My kids are pretty late at potty training. My son was almost 4 and my daughter is 3 and still in diapers. We can go most of the day without them, but she is afraid of #2 in the toilet. Go figure!
