{Almost} Wordless Wednesday – Exquisite Beauty

How else could I describe this gorgeous beauty?

This is the first of five Lady Painted Butterflies that were born in our home this past week. And this bold lump was the first to spread her wings and fly off to her new life.

(Notice the kids decided her gender… and Miss Harley is fluttering around happily somewhere in our corner of Texas at this very moment!)

I can’t wait to share our little caterpillar-now-butterfly adventure soon. So look out for that post later this week!

Our butterfly was small. She’s actually just a day old in this picture (Ha ha! Not that she will grow much bigger over the next few weeks!)
