Isn’t it amazing how God can use a monster disease and a 13 year old with faith as huge as a mountain to impact the lives of thousands over 270, 000 people?
Lane Goodwin
Lane Goodwin is a 13 year old with a perspective on life that is …to put it simply…absolutely mind-blowing!
He has a smile on his face despite being hit with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma stage IV for the third time in his nascent life.
In his situation, he has chosen to be productive and use his voice to spread awareness on the need to find a permanent cure for Childhood Cancer.
And his voice is being heard.
Through the Thumbs Up For Lane movement, the message Lane wants out there has been spreading like wild-fire.
People have been going that extra mile to share this campaign.
But in the midst of all this, his mother shared a heart-breaking status on his page yesterday…
It won’t take long but will you stop for a few minutes and whisper a prayer for this precious family. They’re going through a raging storm at this time and I believe, with all my heart, that God CAN calm it all. He did it for our friend. He can do it for Lane.
And if you’re going through a difficult time right now, take a moment to re-look at your perspective on that situation.
You don’t have to put your life on hold…or drown yourself in that pity party.
Turn to the LORD and ask Him to help you look at your situation in a new light.
God has given Lane’s family the strength and grace to do just that…
He can do the same for you.

What an amazing little man! I think children are often braver than adults when dealing with serious illness. I’ve seen it time and again.

There are a lot of people that have come into my life lately that have talked to me about God and not believing-although I see their struggles, their trials and tribulations; I can honestly say that without it (prayer) and God, my son and I wouldn’t be here today along with a lot of others, it’s not about believing in what others believe it is about believing that you can make a difference with a prayer(;
