Cruising down the road…with a family of 4
Sounds like something straight out of a song…but that’s the line out of my family’s travel box!
With a 6 year and a 2 year in tow, we’ve recently been making frequent trips to neighboring cities we love. (Yes, San Antonio is way up high on that list!)
My 2 year old has just discovered it is worth the while to sit in a car seat for close to 4 hours at a stretch, to ultimately reach some fun destination. This has encouraged us to be comfortable to say yes to the various work-related invitations we’ve been extended.

Let me put this out there that our road trips are comfortable in our nice and compact, fuel saver with wheels…but the kids are getting bigger. Once in a while I do feel a leg ram the behind of my seat…

Or at times we need to break up the starts of a disagreement in the back when someone’s elbow gets into the space of somebody else’s zone!
Yep! My kids are growing faster than I’d like them to and the reality is we’ll soon be packed sardines in our present car, changing our travel line to processing from cruising!
We have been scouting around and it does look like this may suit our needs…

Oh yeah! I can definitely see my family of 4 in this…

If wishes were horses, I’d so wish that I woke up over the weekend to miraculously find this cool thang on wheels left on our parkway…

“Have fun kids! Enjoy cruising down the road…with that sweet family of yours!”

I had a Kia once, until my ex totaled it. It was a good car for the month we had it though! I’d get one again.

I have never owned or driven a Kia. We are a Chevy family. Funny but true, I had a Dodge when I met my husband and we weren’t married a year when I received a big ole Chevy Minivan to replace the Dodge
. Looks like a great car though!
Nice and roomy I bet. Love the color. Not sure I would own one, but they sure are popular.

I test drove a Kia once before, but that was years ago. I have been hearing good things about Kia recently. We will be needing a new car next year. The Kia Rio sounds like a great car to me.

I love Kia’s! My mom and grandma both have a Kia (Forte and Rio) and they are AMAZING on gas! We went from FL to Indiana (a 20 hour drive) for only $99.

Space is a huge deal in my car. My kids would go nuts on each other if they were too cramped. Plus, the noise… eek!

I’ve test driven a couple of Kia’s and they are great. My favorite so far was the Optima Hybrid. It’s so quiet and fuel efficient!
