I can’t wait for cooler weather to hit our corner of Texas. I know it’s Fall, but right now we’re still walking around in sleeveless tees and shorts!
Ah, soon!…
Winter will soon be here.
Thankfully my little ones don’t need to be forced to drink enough water every day but when winter rolls in, I do need to remind them to stay hydrated.
My sweet friend, unfortunately, struggles to get her 8 year old to drink even half the required quota each day.
The result?
Cracked, bleeding lips and sores around the mouth.
This has now become quite common place with her son. And while he struggles through the pain and discomfort, the only non-prescription based treatment that has proven effective is Aquaphor’s Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment.

The ointment soothes the sore, irritated area and over a period of a few days, gently but surely coats and encourages healing to set in.
Best of all, this isn’t packed with harmful what-nots!
My friend now swears by the ointment and has a stash put away in her medicine cabinet.
I just thank God that I’ve not had to use either products to treat extreme skin sores. I have, though used the ointment around Bunny girl’s nostrils when she’s had to use paper tissues in school when her Boogie Wipes have run out. And for Bunny Boo when an irritant mosquito bite cracks and gets sore.

We started using Aquaphor just over 30 years ago when your son was born with eczema and was the ONLY thing that helped. Now our tiny little grand daughter is using for the same reason. I trust this product will work miracles always! So glad they have been coming out with new products.
My mom used Aquaphor for her radiation burns and I use it for chapped lips, healing cracked dry skin and all sorts of other healing skin ailments.
