A new school year is always packed with adventure and…
it’s fair share of Owies, boo-boos, scrapes, gashes and cuts.
I don’t know any Mommy who doesn’t have a BAND-AID lying around to save the day when you hear that painful shriek (whether it be for a tiny scratch or a bloodied cut).
I have learnt, from experience, that my children are always happier when they know a boo-boo will be taken care of with a BAND-AID. (I have to admit that my two play up in the drama department just to get a much coveted BAND-AID!) And if it has Kermit or a Miss Piggy on it, oh well, then who needs tears?
I’ve also learnt, yes from experience again, that it is so important to remember to stock up on regular BAND-AIDs too .
Else when Hubby does need that rare plaster, he has no other option but to dip into the kids shelf in the medicine cabinet.
And yes…sport Kermit’s eyes on his finger for the rest of the day!
{I know it isn’t too much for him to ask that I ensure our shelf has a stash of regular Muppet-less Quiltvent technology BAND-AIDs!)
So yes, with the new school year rocking out in full swing, my medicine cabinet is stocked!
And if you think you can’t use BAND-AIDS for anything other than Owies, think again!
With a little imagination, if you have these stashed away around the house, they can come in handy to save that deflating balloon before your 2 year old bursts into tears or even brighten up a child’s lunchbox. ((wink!))
Tell me…have you ever had to use BAND-AIDS for a non-Owie cause? Or thought of another creative use to divert a possible crisis at home?
Win it:
One of you will have the chance to win a 40$ BAND-AID Kit that will include NEOSPORIN antibiotic ointment, new BAND-AID Brand Adhesive Bandages with QuiltVent technology and Muppets BAND-AID Brand Adhesive Bandages.
