When we moved to the home we’re living in right now, I was excited. The rooms were well lit, thanks to the generous streams of sunlight that would pore through during the day. But at night, it was a different story.

Because Hubby and I love “bright” rooms, we invested in floor lamps and additional light fixtures to set the tone to bright happiness again.

One of my favorite areas in the home is at the dining table. I always think that’s one of the places our family has so many memories built.

With everyone glued to their seats, it’s easier to share one’s heart or just jabber away to your heart’s content…and I love it!

Right above the dining table we have a warm-glow, chandelier.

It isn’t extravagant or exquisite… but it’s definitely practical.

I do have a desire to invest in something more dramatic because that’s an area we do entertain quite frequently.

So, while browsing the 1-800-Lighting site the other day, I stumbled upon an extensive selection of Capitol Lighting ceiling lights. (429 to be precise!)

Capitol Lighting is a well known, family owned, lighting company with stores in Florida and New Jersey. They’re popular for their traditional yet exquisite lighting fixtures and modern, sophisticated lighting products.

Their name on a product is always synonymous to an approved seal of quality, irrespective of the design you’re looking at.

Keeping that in mind, I decided to window shop through their line and found many an exquisite piece but some stood out more than others.

I thought this simple fixture was elegant and unique in style…

but perhaps this chandelier would be more dramatic for our dining area…

Decisions are never easy!
