I’ve been blessed with my maternal grandfather’s side of the family’s feet. All the women on that side have feet that are 2 sizes too big and look anything but dainty. I am thankful, though, that I don’t have the largest shoe size. My poor sister has that!
One problem with big feet is finding attractive footwear that is comfortable, supportive…
and feminine looking.
I’m also fussy about heels. Because Hubs is a tad bit taller than I am, I prefer to wear flats. And quite honestly I’ve always been more comfortable in flats, even as a teen.
So when I heard about Kalso Earth Shoes, I was intrigued!
This unique line of footwear was conceptualized and designed over a 10 year period of trial and error. Its Danish founder, Anne Kalso, was determined to create shoes that took into consideration all the natural demands of the foot and body.
Eventually Kalso Earth Shoes evolved.

I couldn’t have affirmed this without really walking out the Innovate Too everywhere I could this past month.

This woven look pair of shoes is perfect for summer as the open-closed design allows for consistent air flow. The look works for a casual, semi formal or even formal afternoon/evening out…
thereby making this a worthy, aesthetic choice.

Getting used to the negative heel design may take a few days of getting used to. But once you realize the shoe is designed to provide your heel and arch support, you tend to relax and allow your foot to rest into that shoe mold.
I’ve worn this for over 3 hours on stretch during our recent vacation to San Antonio and can confess my feet didn’t have any sores, aches or pockets of discomfort.
I didn’t even experience any “breaking in” problems when I wore the shoes the first time.
I’m now contemplating picking up a more dressy pair to go with my dresses and skirts.
My Innovate Too pair is now a biased preference in my collection.
And when they’re stashed away in the closet, a certain little somebody steals them away with high hopes of swiping them away from me.
All I can say is this little one has taste!
