Bunny girl begins 1st grade on Monday and while she’s excited to go to school, I have a familiar knot in my tummy. That knot of concern, worry and Dottie-sickness…
I will miss having her at home all day.
And it’s during moments like these that I wish I had the strength and patience to homeschool her.
As her Mother I know I can’t bubble wrap her and have her glued to my side for the rest of her life.
I have to let her go out to school and trust the LORD to watch over her when I can’t.
I can’t do anything but rely on my Heavenly Father’s Hand to guide, direct and protect her…
I can only cover her with a mantle of prayer.
I found this beautiful article on Thriving Family on what to pray for one’s child.
I love that each prayer is founded on the Word of God.
I couldn’t have found it at a better time.

I pray it may give you direction on how to lift up your child in prayer, as he/she steps out each day.
And may you be blessed in knowing that our prayers are heard by a Father who is quick to answer and faithful to fulfill.
