Back to School shopping’s a breeze with CookiesKids.com {#CookiesKids #CBias}

Last year I was a newbie Back to School shopper.

I made the mistake all newbies make…

I shopped in the heart of peak traffic season.

I fretted when uniform polos in my then 5 year old’s size were not available.

I fumed when I stood stuck in a line for over 30 minutes, in a hot, stuffy store with other irate customers.

After last year I vowed never to make the same mistake.

This year I was wiser.

I shopped online, in the comfort of my jammies.

Bought quality uniform attire at competitive prices, in the needed sizes and colors.

Had it all shipped to my doorstep.

And did all this with no stress whatsoever!

One site I did use to do part of my uniform shopping was Cookie’s Kids.

This 40 year old company centers around kids fashion and the latest in kids style trends.

Their humble beginnings paved the way to where they are today.

Where it all began…

1972…a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens…2 brothers…and toy sales.

The following year included clothing sales and after a while, a 3rd brother jumped aboard.

Stores opened up selling toys, clothes and accessories.

By 1990, this company grew to include 6 superstores throughout New York City.

And in the latter part of the 90s, uniforms joined the list of sales.

From then on, there has been no looking back!

An easier, more convenient way to shop for uniforms…

If you stay close to a Cookie’s Kids store, you can make the most of your shopping experience with the deals they offer.

But that doesn’t mean a shopper miles away from the store can’t cash in!

You can shop through the Cookie’s Kids online store- CookiesKids.com

and yes, this is so easy.

Navigation is simple for even the novice online shopper.

Apparel choices are divided by gender, size, type and brand.

Prices are definitely competitive and if you find an advertised price lower than what is being offered on site for a specific brand and design, you can request a price match.

My CookiesKids.com picks…

The online store has practically everything you need for Back to School shopping…

except for school supplies.

(You never know… they may start selling supplies soon!)

Polos, skirts/skorts, pants, blazers, cardigans…

and other school uniform must-haves like shoes, socks, backpacks and even hair accessories, can be found in the store!

Considering I’d bought most of Bunny girl’s sets earlier, I just ordered 2 red polos and a navy skort to complete her sets.

But looking at all the great kids’ styles around, I thought I’d create a “Dressed for 1st Grade Success” look…

What a smart look…

perfect for a 1st Grader!!

The overall shopping experience…

I have to say convenience, a great selection of school uniforms and competitive prices make this store any parent’s pick.

When I placed my order I was able to use an available online coupon code to get 10% off my order. And the polos ordered were on sale.

So the overall price paid for 2 polos and a skort was definitely a deal!

The polos and skort ordered, came in crisp condition.

Not being one to take any chances I did make sure Bunny girl tried a set on the night before school.

As expected the clothes picked fit perfectly and as usual, the French Toast brand’s quality met my expectations.

I was also very impressed with the Customer Service personnel I’d interacted with prior to receiving my order. There was a small issue in processing my order but to ensure my daughter received her sets before school, they speed shipped the package at no additional cost.

On the overall, Cookie’s Kids has made an impression on this cost crunching, quality hunting, convenience seeking Mama. And yes, I am proud to say my 1st grader was well kitted for a brand new school year!

I have gotten better through the years. For school supplies I buy them when they are on sale! For clothes I always end up getting their clothes right before school starts so they don’t wear the clothes before the new school year.

The clothes you picked look great! I have been checking out cookieskids for a bit, but the only thing I don’t like is all the emails they hit you with when you sign up. I seriously get like 5 a day! That is way too many.
