25 competitors face a showdown of sorts with H-E-B’s Slim Down Showdown Challenge.
The Buzz:
The 16-week challenge is designed to provide contestants with the education and tools they need to live a healthier lifestyle and the chance to win a $10,000 grand prize or a $5,000 “fan favorite” prize.
Contestants were selected based on their willingness and desire to embrace the program, and to publicly share their journey and the resulting lifestyle changes with the public through blogs and vlogs.
The Showdown is part of “Healthy at H-E-B,” a comprehensive, long-term commitment to improve the health of Texans and provide them with fresh, healthy food that is affordable and easy to prepare.
