Sometime last month, a good friend of ours rang the doorbell, walked in with a bouquet of 12 gorgeous red roses and placed them on my dining table.
With the widest grin on her face, she said that she’d been shopping, saw the roses and thought of me.
It wasn’t my birthday nor was I celebrating a milestone of any sort. My sweet friend just thought her friend {Ahem, Me!} deserved to be told that she was special and appreciated…
with a bouquet of roses.
That little act made my day…my week…my month.
If more of us were like this friend of mine, how many more miles of smiles would there be in this world?
Remember that buddy of yours who has moved to the UK or that relative who moved to Canada with her husband? Why don’t you think of ordering a bouquet of smiles for her?

Thanks to the Internet the world has become a smaller place, so don’t use distance as an excuse and just send out those flowers.
You really don’t need an occasion to make someone smile!
Think back. When was the last time someone did something special for you…just because?

Wow! I’m totally jealous… what a WONDERFUL friend you have in this woman! You’re right too; if more of us were like her, days would be much brighter for so many… ourselves included! That is so sweet. I haven’t gotten flowers in quite a while but I used to love it when my husband would bring them home

I agree, flowers don’t need an occasion. I love getting fresh or even potted plants when ever the mood strikes hubby. Unfortunately it doesn’t strike often.
