Over a year ago Bunny girl asked us if she could be baptized. Hubby and I discussed this between ourselves and felt she was too young to make such a big decision at 5. We told her she had to wait a year to think about it and pray about it. We honestly thought she’d forget about it like all the other things that pop up at the spur of the moment and then fizzles down after a while.
But we were soon to be proven wrong.
A week shy of her 6th birthday, she bounded to the dinner table and excitedly asked us why she was excited to be turning 6. We guessed a variety of things like her Arts and Crafts birthday party, birthday gifts et al but she shook her head to everything.
She finally burst out saying she was excited she could now get baptized!
After a lot of prayer, discussion and hearts filled with peace, we approached our Pastor and asked what he though. His face lit up and said that it would be his honor.
We were filled with so much joy.
So this past Resurrection Sunday, the LORD fulfilled the desire of our 6 year old’s heart.

My heart is filled with so much praise for what He has done, what He is doing and there is excited anticipation to see what He has in store for our family in the days to come.

I’d like to win it for myself. I thought I wasn’t familiar with her music, but just went to Amazon to listen to samples. I recognized Ever Lifting. I heard it on The Message, satellite radio all the time. She has an amazing voice.
