This “hearty” collection include stories from “can burn water” first time cooks, soul chefs that cook like Mom, family cooks (yes including the little ones!), cooks who’ve drawn inspiration from those who’ve passed on but not before handing down some cooking gems.
If you ask me what makes this book stand out from the others, I’d say it has to be the select number of recipes that have been included (There’s even a recipe in for Tabbouleh!) and ofcourse the usual graphic chuckles thrown in for good measure.

There is something so great about the ‘Soup Books’ You find yourself able to relate, because they are about Life, and it warms your heart to know there are others just as crazy as yourself, out there
Family dinners are extra special as adult children. As a child who”s parents divorced, we always had two of everything on holidays, and it was hard. But grandkids have a way of making things different, and for the past 8 years we have been able to gather at one very large dining room table for Our Real Family Meals <3 and nothing is better than Food and Family
