Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has such a treat in store for all lovable Pooh fans worldwide. Winnie the Pooh: Blu-Ray & DVD Set hits the market on October 25, 2011 and if you’ve been waiting for some good, clean entertainment for your kids, then this is it!
The Buzz:
Disney returns to the Hundred Acre Wood with “Winnie the Pooh.” Featuring the timeless charm, wit and whimsy ofthe original featurettes, this all-new movie reunites audiences with the philosophical “bear of very little brain” and friends Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo – and last, but certainly not least, Eeyore, who has lost his tail. “Ever have one of those days where you just can’t win, Eeyore?” asks Pooh. Owl sends the whole gang on a wild quest to save Christopher Robin from an imaginary culprit. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply set out to find some honey. Disney’s all-new “Winnie the Pooh” movie is inspired by three stories from A.A. Milne’s books in Disney’s classic, hand-drawn art.

E.B. Mommy’s Report:
It was such a treat to sit down with Bunny girl and Bunny Boo this afternoon and watch our friends from the 100 Acre Woods come to life on our television screen.
Bunny girl hasn’t watched the good ol’ Pooh movies so she loved every bit of the movie. I, on the other hand, felt a bit nostalgic and missed the good ol’ voices, especially that of “down in the dumps”, drawly Eeyore. Once I got past the nostalgia (lets say that was about 5 minutes into the 60 minutes long movie!) I was able to thoroughly enjoy every bit of the adventure that cooked up when wise, “know-it-all” Owl blunders in his self-professed reading skills!
The movie features a handful of songs (sing along with me…”The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers”…), pockets of humor and much loved bits from movies from the past- Pooh’s “rumbly” tummy on the hunt for that “something sweet”, the pouncing bouncy Tigger, the runaway red balloon and flustered little Piglet.
I think the bit we enjoyed the most was the segment where Owl misreads Christopher Robin’s note and concocts up a ferocious “Backsun” that everyone’s initially petrified of.
After scaring themselves just thinking about the “Backsun”, the friends decide to get rid of it by setting up a trap.
This is one movie your family will love!

I wanted to let you know I was hacked into and I haven’t had access to my old e-mail site at rj_angel_house@yahoo.com in over one week. If I would have known it would take forever, I would have started earlier on changing my e-mails to another e-mail address. I am sorry if you got an e-mail I was in Spain and needed money. I have a new e-mail which I am going to use now. Thanks. Rita rjspratlen@gmail.com
