At times when God speaks, it’s a still small voice…sometimes even a whisper. And it’s at times like these that He invites us to be still and know that He is God (Psalms 46:10).
Join me as I share with you 31 God Whispers…i.e. 31 Promises from the Word of God that sustain, strengthen and encourage me on my journey to be the Mommy and Wife God wants me to be.

Who is my God? ( Day 22)
.
Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me
(Isaiah 46:9)
.
It’s easy to allow situations and circumstances in life to overwhelm us.
Easy to lose hope in prayer.
Easy to lose sight of who God is.
As I read and meditated on our verse for the day I felt like God was egging me (and yes, you too) to stop, re-focus and look back on what God has done, to remind myself in Whom it is I trust.
So I ask myself…
“Who is my God?”
And my spirit swells with a response…
“He is the One who brought an entire world into Creation just by speaking a word.”
“The One who parted the waters of the Red Sea to take His children to safety.”
“The One who raised a dead person to life”
“The One who fed the multitudes with 5 loaves and 2 fish”
“The One who walked on water and spoke to the raging storm to be still”
“The One who supernaturally provided food for his children all those years in the wilderness.”
“The One who shut the mouths of the lions in the den”
“The One who breathed life into dry bones”
“The One who caused the sun to stand still”
“The One who sent His Only Son to die for my sins”
Yes, He is the One.
He is Jehovah Nissi (my Banner),
Jehovah Jireh (my Provider),
Jehovah Shammah (my Healer),
Jehovah Shalom (my Peace) and
Jehovah Tsidkenu (my righteousness).
And I sit in awe, gratitude, humility…
and am filled with a renewed hope, for it is in Him I trust…
my God..

It’s true that life can get overwhelming and sometimes we forget that our God is bigger and able to do so much more than we can ask or imagine. We just need to remember to call out to him, and he will hear our prayers!
